How did you two meet?
We met at a student halls party at Oxford Brookes University, on the second day of first year. So we are university sweethearts.

What's your favourite thing to do together?
Eat - We are massive foodies and love trying new restaurants or testing out new recipes at home. That's why we couldn’t wait to get our Prezola delivery as we had chosen lots of new kitchenware.

What was the best thing about the wedding?
The guests - they made our day. It was so amazing to have everyone we love and care about in one room to celebrate our love together.

What tip would you give other couples planning their wedding?
Set a budget from the very beginning and include everything you could possibly want. As the planning progresses, keep updating your budget with elements that you have removed, added and the costs so you are keeping track. Weddings are an expensive business and its so easy to lose track of the cost.

Tell us all about your honeymoon! Where did you go and what did you love about it?
Our honeymoon was amazing. We had 3 weeks - The 1st week we stayed at Six Senses Lamuu in Maldives. It was out of this world, pure relaxation, full of snorkelling and sun-worshipping and don’t get me started on the food. Just amazing! We spent the other two weeks in Bali. We stayed at Sandat Glamping in Ubud and then Eliysan Villa’s in Seminyak. I loved the mixture of relaxation and then adventure as well as discovering 2 cultures and countries on one memorable holiday.

What has surprised you most about being married?
Nothing has changed, we still have the exact same relationship which is so nice. It’s exactly how I imagined it to be.

One thing we did before we got married and I'm glad we still do now is…
Make time for each other. Before the wedding we took a full week off over Easter to spend time with each other before all the craziness of the wedding month in May hit. It was so nice to do something other than wedding planning. We still make time for each other - whether it’s a picnic in the park or going to the cinema, it's so important to give your relationship that time.

Were you always planning to have a gift list?
Yes as I know some people like to gift money towards something and some people like to buy an actual gift. Prezola allowed us to do both which was perfect.

What are your favourite brands on Prezola?
I really love Kelly Hoppen as her style is so sleek and timeless as well as The White Company which has some lovely lifetime pieces.

What item were you most excited to get on your gift list?
I was most excited about our new Denby Studio Blue Dinnerware sets. We had old dinnerware that we had bought when we first moved in together so it was so exciting to replace it with something new.

Tell us all about your Prezola delivery day!
It was like Christmas in Summer. The boxes just kept giving and giving. Each gift was beautifully wrapped and we had a list of which guest brought what, as well as their message so it was so lovely to read through those as we were opening the gifts.

How would you describe your interior style?
We joke our flat is 50 shades of grey as the main colour is grey. However, I love splashes of colour where possible with things like cushions, pictures, rugs etc. I would describe my interior style as a mix of modern with touches of cosy scandi style.

Is there a gift you wish you had added to your gift list but didn't?
Actually no, everything on our gift list was stuff that we needed or wanted to replace. Some guests bought us gift cards so we were able to use the extra money to buy any gifts that hadn’t been bought by our guests.
