How did you two meet?

We met while studying at the Royal College of Music almost eight years ago!

What's your favourite thing to do together?

We love to travel, so any adventure, big or small, is our favourite thing to do.

What was the best thing about the wedding?

It was so amazing to have all of our favourite people in the same place! Every time we turned around there was a beaming face and it was wonderful to pick up where you left of with every guest.

What tip would you give other couples planning their wedding?

Phoebe’s law exams were a couple of weeks before the wedding, so we had lists with ‘final due’ dates on them – it was helpful to separate out the tasks that absolutely needed to be done soon and those that could wait longer so the little time we had dedicated to planning could be productive. We had a lot of really fun evenings going over the plan with some champagne! One of the best bits now is looking over the photos – each one brings back different memories of the day. Invest money in photography, and make sure you love your photographer’s style! We got so lucky with Charlotte Hu – her photographs are incredible.

Tell us all about your honeymoon! Where did you go and what did you love about it?

We went to Barcelona! It was completely magical, and full of food and mini adventures. We can’t wait to go back again. We loved our hotel, the slow pace of the honeymoon, and having sangria on the rooftop pool – we couldn’t have got any luckier with the weather!

What has surprised you most about being married?

How little everything has changed, and easy it is to have your best friend around all the time!

One thing we did before we got married and I'm glad we still do now is...

Spending the late nights talking until we fall asleep!

Were you always planning to have a gift list?

We thought it would be so helpful to have some things to start off our home together – after being students for so long we really wanted matching cutlery or crockery! We were staggered with how generous everyone was – it’s given us the most beautiful home.

What's your favourite gift list feature on Prezola?

We loved being able to put a donation fund for some art for our new home. Through studying we found this amazing print shop in Oxford and always used to talk about getting prints from there when we lived together! We were blown away by the generosity that allowed us to pick out some beautiful pieces.

What are your favourite brands on Prezola?

We loved Le Creuset and the Bloom & Wild subscriptions!

What item were you most excited to get on your gift list?

Every time someone bought us something it was exciting – we’ve loved using everything, though the stunning hand-painted serving dishes have had the most compliments with guests.

Tell us all about your Prezola delivery day!

Nick sent pictures to me at work – no one tells you that the boxes will fill your living room, or how beautifully they would all be wrapped! We waited until I got home to open the gifts together - it was so lovely to read all the cards from our friends and family and open their gifts.

How would you describe your interior style?

Modern, with pieces picked up from our travels. Currently obsessed with a beautiful lobster dish we got in Barcelona!

Is there a gift you wish you had added to your gift list but didn't?

Perhaps some of the bigger things you forget about when setting up home, like bedside tables or picture frames.
